It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

We're talking about the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success coming after success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at a major tournament.

So great is her will, she later said she wanted to have participated through the pain.

However although she afterwards confessed those injuries have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this tournament is anticipated as her last as captain in ODI cricket and she is yet to win an international tournament as leader.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her final mountain.
